The University of West Georgia has relaunched its official specialty license plate program, introducing a bold new design that fuels scholarship support and celebrates the momentum of the Pack.

Available to drivers across Georgia, the new UWG plate offers supporters a bold way to show their Pack pride on the road. Each plate purchased contributes $10 annually to student scholarships, providing critical support that helps Wolves stay enrolled, persist and thrive.

“This new plate is a symbol of university pride and a reflection of the momentum we’re building together,” said Dr. Michael Johnson, UWG’s president. “As we grow our presence across the state and continue strengthening the bond between UWG and our community, this is a simple, meaningful way for supporters to champion their connection with UWG. Every plate on the road represents dollars for scholars: real impact for real students.”

The updated design features the university’s athletics mark, representing UWG’s modern identity and the energy of its Division I era. The program supports scholarship funding through the UWG Foundation, directly contributing to student success and reducing financial barriers for UWG students.

“Scholarship support changes the trajectory of a student’s life, and this specialty plate gives every member of our community an accessible way to be part of that transformation,” said Allyson Bretch ’14, UWG’s vice president for university advancement and CEO of the university’s foundations. “Each plate on the road directly strengthens our scholarship resources and expands opportunities for Wolves across Georgia. As UWG continues to grow its visibility in the Division I era, I can’t think of a better symbol of Pack pride than a tag that helps create opportunities for the next generation of Wolves.”
