Georgia Hits Record Highs in Labor Force & Employment as Job Growth Continues
The Georgia Department of Labor announced today that Georgia's unemployment rate for January 2026 was 3.5%, holding steady from a revised 3.5% in December. January’s unemployment rate was 0.8 percentage point lower than the national unemployment rate.
