Survey: Only 19% of Companies Staff on Employee Appreciation Day

Tiff's Treats, the original warm cookie delivery company, announced today the eye-opening results of a consumer survey about Employee Appreciation Day that clearly shows its importance to both employees and employers.
Survey highlights:

91% of respondents reported their satisfaction with their employer would increase if they were recognized for Employee Appreciation Day

HR leaders who celebrate staff on Employee Appreciation Day are considered to be "thoughtful," "caring," and "smart" according to respondents

93% of respondents consider CEOs who recognize their employees on Employee Appreciation Day to be better leaders

Only 19% of respondents report that their company is planning to recognize staff for Employee Appreciation Day

74% of respondents would consider looking for a new job if they weren't recognized for Employee Appreciation Day
Return to office makes it even more critical
With more companies reverting back to the office 5 days per week, employee satisfaction is more critical than ever. A whopping 96% of survey respondents felt that it was important for companies that require employees to work in-office 5 days per week to recognize staff on Employee Appreciation Day.
Recognizing employees = success
98% of respondents believe companies that recognize employees for Employee Appreciation Day would be more successful and, similarly, 98% of those surveyed believe that companies that recognize employees for Employee Appreciation Day have a better chance of making it onto the Fortune 500 list.
