Atlanta-based Black Business Owner Named Small Business Person of the Year for Georgia
Monday, May 1st, 2023
Ahead of National Small Business Week (NSBW), the U.S. Small Business Administration recently announced this year’s Small Business Person of the Year winners – over 50 outstanding small business owners and entrepreneurs from across the United States, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Ken R. Taunton, president, founder, and CEO of The Royster Group, an executive recruiting and professional staffing firm, has been selected as Georgia’s Small Business Person of the Year for 2023.
“To say I’m elated would be an understatement,” says Ken, who started the firm in 2001. “This award is a testament to our incredible Royster team, supportive partners, wise mentors, and wonderful clients who contribute to our success. This honor would not be possible without their collective trust and support in our ability to connect top talent with top-tier employers.”
Each year, the SBA celebrates National Small Business Week by recognizing the achievements of outstanding small business owners and entrepreneurs across the United States. All NSBW winners will be recognized during the National Small Business Week awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., on April 30 and May 1.
