Staff Report

Wednesday, December 14th, 2022

What: The Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) has announced an Industry Forum will be held for the Interstate ITS and CV Implementation projects. This Industry Forum covers two individual projects, that are being procured separately, for the design and construction of broadband and connected vehicle (CV) infrastructure along several Interstate corridors in Georgia. These projects will be implemented over two fiscal years. Project PI number 0019550 covers Fiscal Year 2023, and project PI number 0019551 covers Fiscal Year 2024. The projects will provide a robust communication network for expansions of Georgia DOT’s NaviGAtor and the ability to deploy CV technology along the interstate system.

The Industry Forum will cover the scope, procurement schedule, and potential risks for the Design-Build projects. Additionally, the procurement team will host confidential one-on-one meetings, which will be held via protected and private Webex links, each with an individual passcode.
