Georgia voters are poised for another record breaking day as Early Voting moves into Tuesday. As of Tuesday morning, approximately 892K Georgia voters have cast their ballot during in-person Early Voting, with 132,272 showing up on Monday, October 24th. Monday’s total marks 33.5% of the 2018 total for day eight of Early Voting, and is only 19% less than day eight during the 2020 Presidential election.

Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger held a press conference at Noon to discuss the progress of Early Voting in the 2022 midterm election thusfar.

Reports of long lines were rare, with some lines in the metro areas being reported. No substantial delays were reported yesterday. Early Voting turnout is expected to increase during the last week of Early Voting, and voters are encouraged to take advantage of next Saturday’s mandatory Early Voting day.
