UnitedHealthcare Welcomes Michael Minor as Chief Executive Officer, Community Plan of Georgia

UnitedHealthcare has welcomed Michael Minor as Chief Executive Officer, Community Plan of Georgia. Minor brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to the role, including past leadership positions with Amerigroup/Anthem, Centene and Wellcare.

I look forward to working with the team to continue to impact the overall health of local communities here in Georgia,” Minor shared. “It truly is our goal to build capacity in the communities we serve to improve access and outcomes for every individual.”
As CEO, Minor will focus on building and expanding the strong relationships that UnitedHealthcare has with healthcare providers, community-based organizations and faith-based partners across the state, to ensure Georgians have access to the support and services needed to achieve better health.
Minor holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville and a Master’s in Health Administration from Xavier University, and has extensive knowledge of Medicaid managed care, Medicare Dual Special Needs plans, finance and provider contracting.
