Institute Offers Webinar on Innovations in Data Analysis and Data Visualization

The Institute of Government has planned a webinar about innovations in data analytics and data visualization and their use in government. The August 18 webinar will discuss how the Georgia Data Analytics Center at the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget and the Georgia Broadband Initiative have used data analytics and data visualization to advance decision making in government.
Presenters include Kanti Chalasani, Division Director of the Georgia Data Analytics Center at the Office of Planning and Budget, and Eric McRae, Associate Director for Information Technology Outreach Services at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government.
Anyone interested in data analytics, visualization, data driven decision making, program evaluation, GIS, or predictive analytics will benefit from this discussion on advancements in the field. In addition, participants also will hear about future learning opportunities and how to become part of a growing network of professionals in the data analytics and visualization ecosystem as part of the Institute’s new Georgia Data Innovation Hub.
