OPB Georgia Investments in Housing Grant

The Georgia Investments in Housing Grant will support nonprofits that are 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) tax-exempt organizations who provide affordable housing and aid individuals experiencing homelessness. Cities can support eligible nonprofits on these projects. If you are a city, feel free to share this opportunity with nonprofits in your community.

Eligibility

OPB will consider applications under which two or more entities would carry out the federal award; however, only one entity may be the applicant. Any others must be proposed as subrecipients (subgrantees).
Organizations must be either a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) that were in operation prior to January 1, 2020.
The applicant must be registered to conduct business in the State of Georgia at the time of application.
Applicants must demonstrate successes in affordable housing projects and supporting individuals experiencing homelessness.
Applicants must be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and maintain active registration during the performance period.
Eligible use of funds under these programs include:

Real property acquisition (Housing Trust Fund)
Site improvements and development hard costs (Housing Trust Fund)
Reasonable administrative and planning costs (Housing Trust Fund)
Housing rehabilitation; (HOME Investment Partnership)
New construction of housing (HOME Investment Partnership)
