Dr. Evan Mallen with the Urban Climate Lab at Georgia Tech spoke to Georgia city officials on Tuesday, March 29, about the significant threats to human health that extreme heat poses and how urban planners and public health practitioners are beginning to turn to data-driven decision support tools to design efficient, effective, and equitable response strategies to reduce the risk of extreme heat in our cities and homes.
