Film Crews Working on Georgia 16 Prompt Intermittent Lane Closures Thursday and Friday

What: Film crews will be shooting scenes on Georgia 16 from the Georgia 85/Georgia 74 intersection (MP 28.28) to the Tinsley Way intersection (MP 28.84) in Coweta County on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 5 and 6, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. each day. To ensure the safety and efficiency of their work, intermittent lane closures will occur throughout those days, directed by local law enforcement officers.
At times, the law enforcement officers will close the lanes of traffic on Georgia 16 from Georgia 85/Georgia 74 to Tinsley Way for three-to-five minute periods so that the film crews can shoot their scenes quickly. Drivers are advised to follow the direction of the officers at the work zone, and be ready to wait for brief periods until instructed that the roadway is cleared and re-opened to traffic. Motorists may wish to utilize alternate routes on these dates. As always, all are urged to be alert to the situation and to drive carefully through the area.
