Georgia Tourism Summit Going Virtual on September 2nd

Staff Report

Thursday, August 27th, 2020

The Georgia Tourism Summit is going virtual, which means that even more people can attend and at a great price: free! The virtual Summit will be broadcast live from our host location, Lanier Islands, with Q&A opportunities for attendees. We hope you can join us on September 2, 2020, to hear from our incredible lineup of national industry speakers and a special message from Governor Kemp – all from the comfort of your own computer.

The safety and well-being of our attendees, speakers, and staff has always been our primary concern while organizing this year’s event. Although we hoped to meet in person, we understand that a large gathering is not viable at this time.

If you were already registered, you have been fully refunded for the in-person event. But, you will need to re-register for the virtual event here.

If you were not registered for the in-person event and would like to attend the virtual Summit, please register below. There is no cost for the virtual Summit, and the event is open to all state tourism professionals.

The speaker lineup remains the same, including Roger Dow, president and CEO of U.S. Travel Association; Adam Sacks, president of Tourism Economics; and more. The online program has been split into a morning and afternoon session for easy viewing.
