As the nation grapples with racial inequity, the Business Roundtable, a new committee of large company CEOs committed to advancing racial equality, released policing reform recommendations for Congress. 

AT&T Chairman Randall Stephenson, who is spearheading the BRT’s Racial Equity and Justice Subcommittee on Equitable Justice said that business leaders cannot sit this one out.

Today on CNBC’s Squawk Box, Stephenson spoke on  AT&T’s stand for equality and the company’s actions since the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery.

This includes AT&T frontline employees painting Black Lives Matter murals on boarded up windows in Chicago and Dallas, and by wearing “Equality” t-shirts that highlight the company’s core values. Employees across the country including in Atlanta are wearing these t-shirts in our retail locations.
