Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Georgia now offers a new on-demand medical care option for its policy holders in the greater Atlanta area. Through its partnership with DispatchHealth, Anthem members can conveniently access general healthcare needs at home when ill or injured. DispatchHealth can treat common to complex injuries and illnesses, such as a respiratory infections, sprains, minor fractures, joint or back pain, urinary tract infections, the flu and more – even symptoms of coronavirus. 

Once members request care by phone, app or website, qualified practitioners will arrive to their home with all of the equipment needed:

• DispatchHealth can call in prescriptions, update primary care doctors and care teams, and handle all billing;

• DispatchHealth treats patients three months of age and older;

• DispatchHealth is in the Anthem network.
