2WR + Partners, the largest architectural firm in West Georgia, announced they have received the AIA Georgia’s People’s Choice Award for their community-centric design of the Harris County Library. The award was presented to 2WR at the 2019 AIA Georgia Design & Honor Awards on April 27 at Ponce City Market’s Rooftop Venue. This event brings together all facets of the design industry to recognize the contribution of key players throughout the year.

Harris County Library is the second building in the county to receive state recognition; an achievement both 2WR and Harris County are mutually proud of. In 2014, the Harris County Community Center, also designed by 2WR, won the AIA Georgia Citation Award. The synergy between the existing community center and its programs, adjacent to the new library will create a valuable and dynamic long-lasting community asset for Harris County residents.
