The awards keep coming for one of the best SkillsUSA chapters in the state and nation.
Members recently attended the Georgia 2RE (Reach, Recruit, and Engage) Fall Leadership Conference in Atlanta where the chapter was recognized for its status as being named a top 24 SkillsUSA National Model of Excellence for 2018.
In addition to the special chapter recognition, several members walked away with top honors from the competition portion of the conference. Liberty Harris won the Framework Brochure Design event, and Hannah Ohlmeier clinched the Framework Poster Design category. Only five competitive events were held at the conference.
Statesman awards were also won by members. Sarah Sorme received the Georgia Distinguished Statesman award, and Kayla Brooks and Liberty Harris both brought home the Georgia Statesman award.
