North Fayette Elementary and Fayette County High were each awarded a donation check at the grand opening ceremony of Bargain Hunt, a new department store in the Fayette Pavilion.
To show their appreciation and support for Fayette County, Bargain Hunt’s district leader, Brandon Bergan, presented a $500 check to North Fayette’s principal Lisa Moore and Fayette County High’s principal Yolanda Briggs-Johnson who were both grateful and honored for the generous donation.
Moore and Briggs-Johnson were also invited to participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome Bargain Hunt associates, regional managers, and customers.
Assistant superintendent Mike Sanders also attended the ceremony as well as members of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce.
The Fayette County High band and color guard performed and entertained the crowd with several song selections.
“This donation is such a blessing to the North Fayette family,” says principal Lisa Moore.
