Without teachers, Fayette County Public Schools wouldn’t be able to educate and impact the lives of more than 20,000 students each day.

To show our appreciate for their hard-work and dedication, the Fayette County Public School System will recognize and thank over 1,400 Fayette County teachers during National Teacher Appreciation Week May 7 – 11.

Teachers provide our students with the inspiration, motivation, and determination they need to succeed, not only academically, but also socially, emotionally and mentally.

Fayette County schools wouldn’t be a place ‘Where Excellence Counts’ without our amazing teachers. Join us this week by saying thank you to a teacher who has spent countless hours ensuring our students have a world class education and a successful future.
