The Fayette Chamber of Commerce has named Kimberly Schnoes as its interim president effective April 16, 2018. Schnoes will serve in an interim capacity while the county-wide chamber conducts a national search for a new president. Schnoes is the immediate past chair of the Chamber board and has provided volunteer leadership for a number of Chamber initiatives since 2012, including roles as co-chair of Leadership Fayette, chair of the Chamber's Workforce and Education Committee and steering committee member and Education committee chair for Fayette Visioning.

"Kim is a great choice to lead during this transition and we are fortunate to have someone who knows this chamber and our community so well," said current Board Chair Stephen Childs. "Our Board is committed to a search process that includes key stakeholders in the success of our business community."
