Arnall Middle School seventh-grader Jessica Yang won second place in the Georgia School Nutrition Association’s state-wide essay contest.

Yang’s placement in the GSNA’s “Let’s Move!’ contest entitles 30 Arnall students to attend the association’s Literary Consortium dinner at the University of Georgia on Friday, and interact with UGA athletes.Students from Loganville Middle School and Carrollton Junior High School also placed in the contest.

The annual essay contest is part of GSNA’s commitment to promote fitness and healthy lifestyles. The Consortium will take place in the Ballroom of Memorial Hall located on the campus of the University of Georgia.
