On Friday, July 14, our 2017 Leadership Coweta Class will have a Little Free Libraries Ribbon Cutting ceremony at noon at the Department of Family and Children's Services, 533 Hwy. 29 North, Newnan.

The event will take place at the Department of Family and Children's Services offices here in Newnan. Our newest Leadership Coweta class will be gifting the Little Free Library to DFACS, and this will be the largest Little Free Library in Coweta County.

The libraries operate on the honor system—anyone can take a book or leave a book—and all kinds of books are welcome. According to Littlefreelibrary.org, millions of books are exchanged each year through this network of neighborhood book exchanges. The most common form is a small wooden box.
