The Georgia Department of Labor’s LaGrange Career Center will host a recruitment for Hyundai Glovis Georgia, a logistics and distribution company, to hire 10 full-time forklift operators to work in a warehouse in West Point. 

The recruitment will be held on Monday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the career center located at 1002 Longley Place in LaGrange.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma, is required.

All applicants must have at least two years of forklift or tugger experience. A forklift certification is preferred. They also must be able to handle at least 30 pounds, along with standing and walking for an extended period of time.

Salaries begin at $11.10 an hour. Benefits include dental, health, life, disability and vision insurance, along with paid holidays, vacation and medical leave and a 401K plan.

A background check will be conducted on the chosen applicants.
