GDOL to Help Mando America Recruit in Hogansville May 4th

The Georgia Department of Labor will help Mando America Corporation, a manufacturing company, recruit 100 employees on Thursday, May 4, to work in Hogansville.

The recruitment will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mando America Corporation Plant 2 located at 1136 Meriwether Park Drive in Hogansville. GDOL staff will be on site to assist applicants.

The employer is recruiting for quality auditors, maintenance technicians, and computer numerical control specialists, along with entry level machine operators/assemblers.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. It is preferred that the applicants for the maintenance technician positions have at least a two-year technical college degree in industrial maintenance technology.

The employer prefers that the applicants have related manufacturing experience. The quality auditor positions require that the applicants have strong math and analytical skills.

All chosen applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug-screening-exam. They also must be able to work eight-hour shifts that are non-rotational.

Salaries for the machine operator/assembler positions begin at $11 an hour. All other salaries will depend on the position and experience.
