Newnan High School Student Wins First Place in Decision-Making at the Jobs for Georgia Graduates Conference in Macon

Newnan High School’s Mahari Young (center) earned the first-place award in the Decision-Making category for the Georgia Department of Labor’s Jobs for Georgia Graduates 13th Annual State Career Association Conference that was held on March 3 in Macon. JGG is the GDOL’s highly acclaimed school-to-work transition program.  The award was presented by State Labor Commissioner Mark Butler (right) and the GDOL’s Director of Employment Services Elizabeth Warner (left).
