Staff Report From Newnan CEO

In partnership with White Oak Golf Club and the Newnan-Coweta Chamber’s Women of Prosperity, the Golf Life Ladies are gearing up for the fourth season of the women’s golf league.

Golf Life Ladies is also known as ‘The Social Golf League’, where women can have fun in a relaxed atmosphere and grow new relationships, all while learning the game of golf. League members get to choose from clinics taught by a PGA Professional or nine-hole play; after golf, networking takes place.

“We added some new options this year.  We had a pre-registration event for last year’s members to welcome them back, offering a unique membership option at White Oak Golf Club.  We will open up registration to new members at our two Kickoff Events on March 15th and March 29th," said Kim Melhouse, co-founder of Golf Life Ladies. “Samantha Brazie and I are very excited about the results of this amazing group. We are not only able to connect many women to the game of golf, in a stress free environment but we are ecstatic to be the first ladies golf league in the area to give back to a cause.”

Each season wraps up with an end of year tournament that benefits a local nonprofit, chosen by the league’s members. Over the past three years, Golf Life Ladies has donated approximately $25,000 to their local community.  “Each year, our “Tournament O’ Fun” grows in number of players and raises more money for our chosen organization” said Samantha Brazie.  “It gives our ladies a sense of pride to be part of a group who cares.”

The Golf Life Ladies league is open to any ladies that would like to develop new, local connections while learning and playing the game of golf. Due to their partnership with Club Corp’s White Oak Golf Club, the league is not exclusive to Club Corp members.
