Georgia Safety, Health & Environmental Conference Heads to Macon

The 23rd Annual Georgia Safety, Health & Environmental Conference is being held in Macon on September 20 – 23, 2016 at the Marriott Macon City Center. The Georgia Conference provides safety, health and environmental professionals from various organizations a place to learn and network with other professionals in similar fields.

The event will feature both Georgia companies and national industry leaders like UPS, Cintas, Georgia Power, Georgia-Pacific, and many more. There will be 7 pre-conference workshops beginning Tuesday, September 20 and 50 side-by-side conference sessions within the areas of safety, health, environmental, legal, construction safety, and industrial hygiene beginning on Wednesday, September 21 and ending at noon Friday, September 23.
 
The Conference Keynote speaker is Shawn Galloway, President and COO of ProAct Safety, who is an author and national speaker. According to prosafety.com, Galloway has helped hundreds of organizations within every major industry achieve and sustain excellence in performance and culture.

Having an exhibit hall with over 50 vendors showcasing their products and services, there will be plenty of networking and learning opportunities for attendees. There will also be a Kids’ Chance Silent Auction which provides educational scholarships for children of Georgia workers who have been seriously injured in a work-related accident that attendees are encourage to participate in.
