The Business Women of Fayette and Coweta are hosting their third annual Artwalk for Pathway, which benefits Pathway Home for Women, a 12-month residential home in Coweta County for women ages 18-38 who are desperate for freedom from life-controlling issues, such as drug and alcohol abuse.

Through individualized care and life coaching, along with group classes, and developing life skills, Pathway empowers women to live with hope, lead authentic lives, and live out of purpose to positively impact the community. Founder and Director, Bonnie Wozniak says, “Creating an authentic, safe family style living environment nurtures the process of healing that radically changes lives and brings reconciliation to women and their families.”

Over the past 10 years, 70% of the graduates never return to their previous lifestyle and that has a great impact on the health and wellness of the local communities. Andra Prowant, board member and life coach said, “I am honored to be the Business Women of Fayette and Coweta chair for Art Walk for the third year, because it has provided community awareness and relieved some of the financial strain on the program to provide living expenses for the women. This allows Bonnie to focus on what she does best; healing the ladies from the deepest places in the heart so they can walk in freedom from destructive patterns.”

Pathway does not receive any federal or state funding and, although most of the ladies have no financial support, no one is turned away. Art Walk is sure to be an inspiring night for men and women to enjoy a catered dinner, bid on art from local artists, including a live painting by Lydia Ellis from Out of the Blue Debut.  It is also a great opportunity for businesses to connect with the program and other local businesses through a sponsorship, which includes tickets and benefits such as paid marketing to their target audience.
