City Considers Property-tax Rate

Coweta County is proposing a property-tax boost, and public hearings on the proposed increase will be held Aug. 2 at 6 p.m., Aug. 16 at 7:30 a.m. and Aug. 16 at 6 p.m.
The proposed rates will be a 2.5 percent increase for the unincorporated areas and a 5.1 percent increase for those in the cities in towns.
