American country music star Neal McCoy will bring his ever-expanding catalog of music to Mill Town Music Hall on Thursday, July 14 at 7:30 pm EST. Over the past three decades McCoy has released three platinum certified albums, one gold album, and numerous Top Ten hits. Opening the concert will be Pennsylvania native and Sony Music Nashville recording artist, Ben Gallaher. Mill Town Music Hall focuses on wholesome, family-friendly music and events and is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).
McCoy grew up in Texas and started out leading an R&B band before shifting his focus to country music. His career took off in 1981 when he won a talent contest that secured him a spot as Charley Pride’s opening act for six years. Afterwards, McCoy launched his solo career releasing his first debut song in 1988, and debut album, At This Moment, in 1990. His second album landed McCoy his first entry on the Top Country Album charts, and his release of No Doubt About It in 1994 topped the charts with back-to-back Number One hits. His latest work includes a tribute to Charley Pride released in 2013, Pride, and his most recent album, You Don’t Know Me, a collection of songs from the American songbook.
