GDOL to Help Automation Personnel Services Recruit in Griffin

On Tuesday, June 7, the Georgia Department of Labor will help Automation Personnel Services recruit more than 60 maintenance mechanics and food production workers to work in Butts County.

The recruitment will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the GDOL’s Griffin Career Center, located at 1514 Highway 16 West.  

All applicants must be at least 18 years old.  A high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma, is required for the maintenance mechanics position, and two years of experience is preferred, but not required.

There are no education or experience requirements for the food production positions.

All positions are temporary, but may lead to full-time opportunities.

Salaries range from $18 to $20 an hour for maintenance mechanics, and $9 to $9.50 an hour for food production workers.
