Two Coweta Teachers Recognized as VFW Teachers of the Year for Georgia

Two Coweta County teachers were recently recognized as the 2015-2016 Veterans of Foreign Wars Teachers of the Year for the state.
Lee Middle School teacher Doris Leak, and East Coweta High School teacher Martin Benavidez each received the state recognition, as well as being named the 2015-2016 teachers of the year for Newnan’s local VFW Post 2667 and for the VFW Fifth District.
