SunTrust was recently named “Best Investment Bank in the Southeast” for the middle market by Global Finance magazine for 2016. This is the first year in which U.S. regional banks were named among the “Best Investment Banks Awards” winners.

Global Finance editors, with input from industry experts, used a series of criteria to score and select winners based on a proprietary algorithm. The criteria included: market share, number and size of deals, service and advice, structuring capabilities, distribution network, efforts to address market conditions, innovation, pricing, after-market performance of underwritings and market reputation. Deals announced or completed in 2015 were considered.
