Dr. Cher Canaday has been working in veterinary medicine for over 16 years. Prior to attending the University Of Georgia College Of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, she worked as a veterinary technician at several veterinary hospitals, including Dogwood. While at UGA, Dr. Canaday furthered her interests in internal and emergency medicine, which earned her an award in Excellence in Emergency and Critical Care. Upon her graduation in 2010, Dr. Canaday made the easy choice to return to the team at Dogwood as an Associate Veterinarian. Dr. Canaday’s professional interests include internal and emergency medicine, dentistry, and oral surgery, and diagnostic imaging including ultrasound. Outside of work, Dr. Canaday rides and competes hunter/jumpers, and enjoys traveling whenever possible. She owns 2 dogs, Ernie and Lola, 2 cats, Carrie and Charlotte, and one horse, Ditto.
