AT&T was recognized by FORTUNE magazine as the Most Admired Telecommunications Company in the world in 2016—for the second year in a row.
 
“The global telecommunications industry has never been more innovative or dynamic than it is today, which is why this recognition is so special,” said Randall Stephenson, AT&T chairman and CEO.  “The credit goes to our employees who work hard every day to connect our customers to everything that matters most in their lives.”

The publication also placed AT&T at #48 among the Top 50 Most Admired companies in the world. This is AT&T’s third year in a row on the list on the Top 50 list. Also, AT&T is the only communications company that appears on the list. The company ranked #1 in all nine attributes, including innovation, financial soundness, and quality of products/services.
