Hannah Solar Announces Solar Integrator Partnership With Electric Cities of GA
Friday, February 19th, 2016
Electric Cities of Georgia, a joint action professional services organization, announced solar integrator Hannah Solar as their exclusive solar design firm for their 52 public power systems throughout Georgia. The announcement came after several months of searching for a reputable design firm, ultimately resulting in the unanimous decision by the board of directors at their February meeting.
"We were looking to build a relationship with an experienced and reliable turn-key solar integrator to refer to our member public power systems and their customers," said President and CEO of Electric Cities of Georgia, John Giles. "We're confident that we've found a trustworthy solar partner to work with in Hannah Solar."
ECG began vetting solar firms after The Georgia State Legislature passed House Bill 57, the Solar Power Free Market Financing Act, last summer, which allows for public and private partnerships in solar long term ownership.
"Hannah Solar is honored to be working with ECG and their public power system members," said Anthony Coker, Vice President of Market Development for Hannah Solar. "We look forward to helping solve their unique needs when it comes to providing solar photovoltaic solutions to their communities and customers."
