Cowetans May be Eligible for Energy Assistance

The 2016 Energy Assistance Program is available for Coweta citizens who meet specific qualifications.
LIHEAP is administered by the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services and will be in the Coweta County Community Action service area until March 1, which will help pay the heating cost for gas, electricity, wood, coal and kerosene. A one-time payment will be made primarily by a check issued to the business name on the bill to be credited to the customer’s account.
