Wednesday, November 11th, 2015
GP PRO, a leading global provider of innovative, integrated washroom and food service solutions for commercial facilities, was the recipient of two awards at the 2015 ISSA/Interclean Innovation Awards Program. Compact with ActiveAire Tissue Dispenser,a first-of-its-kind public restroom solution, won both the Dispenser Category Award and Visitors' Choice Award.
"We are thrilled and honored to be the only company at this year's ISSA/Interclean Convention to win awards in two categories," said Scott Light, president of GP PRO. "Our Compact with ActiveAire Tissue Dispenser received overwhelming praise by customers and attendees. With its state-of-the-art motion sensing technology and ability to neutralize odors at the source, we believe this product will improve the way people experience the public restroom."
The Compact with ActiveAire Tissue Dispenser combats odor – one of the largest sources of public restroom dissatisfaction. The tissue dispenser is designed in a way that puts patrons back in control while reducing maintenance for facility staff. Specific features include:
-
On-Demand Scent: The scent is motion-activated when entering the stall. In addition, a wave of the hand will provide an extra burst of freshness.
-
Easy to Maintain Location: Because the product is mounted in the stall instead of high on a wall, ladders are not needed to change scents or batteries.
-
Sustaining Release for Ongoing Odor Control: A gentle fan blows air across fragrance refills providing a sustained release for 30 days.
-
Fresh Air: Refills do not contain propellants or added VOCs and there are six pleasant fragrance options.
This year's ISSA Innovation Award Program featured 39 products and services from cleaning manufacturers and service providers. Participants were entered into one of five categories: Cleaning Agents, Dispensers, Equipment, Services & Technology, and Supplies. Individuals representing distributors, wholesalers and facility service providers throughout the industry voted online between July 1 and October 16 to determine the category winners. Additionally, exhibiting entries were on display in the show's Innovation Showcase area, and attendees voted to determine five additional Visitors' Choice award winners.
