Georgia Construction Outlook Survey: 86% of Respondents Project Revenue Increase

The Georgia Construction Outlook Survey indicates that 86 percent of the state’s privately held construction companies project a revenue increase over the prior year. The survey, released on Tuesday, was conducted by Kennesaw State University’s Construction Management Department in cooperation with Bennett Thrasher, one of the country’s largest full-service certified public accounting and consulting firms.

Georgia's Ports Set New Industry Standard

The Georgia Ports Authority handled 333,006 twenty-foot equivalent container units in April, an increase of 11.7 percent, or 34,966 TEUs, compared to the same month a year ago. Across all ports, GPA's total tonnage increased by 13 percent, or 334,950 tons, to reach 2.94 million tons and the Authority's busiest April ever.
