WGTC Fall Enrollment Up 5 Percent, MOWR Up 40 Percent
September 28, 2016
West Georgia Technical College’s fall semester enrollment is up over 5 percent from last year to 6,707 students, the college announced on Tuesday. The number of high school students taking WGTC classes through the state’s Move On When Ready program is up 40 percent to 1,081 students.

Chamber's 'State of Healthcare' Lunch is October 5th at Newnan Country Club

Fayette Visioning Selects Branding Firm

Fayette Visioning announced that it has selected professional marketing firm Development Counsellors International to design, develop and assist with implementation of Fayette’s county-wide branding campaign. A 16-member branding task-force made up of a variety of Fayette business and community stakeholders reviewed branding proposals from ten marketing firms and then met with three finalists for in-person presentations.

Georgia Quality Healthcare Access Task Force Presents Options to Close Coverage Gap

After a year of extensive research, the Georgia Quality Healthcare Access Task Force has completed three proposals aimed at closing the coverage gap and shoring up the state’s ailing provider network. All three approaches would require Georgia to attain a waiver from the federal government because each of them implements cost-saving differences from traditional programs in most other states.
