Legacy and Impact: UWG Hosts 15th Annual MLK Celebration

The University of West Georgia hosted its 15th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Thursday, featuring student performances from the United Voices Gospel Choir, Alyrica Taylor, Camille Brown and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. reflecting on the profound legacy and impact of MLK.

On Monday, more than 100 students, faculty and staff joined UWG President Dr. Brendan Kelly to march in the Carroll County NAACP’s 26th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. parade, followed by the annual day of service for students.
