The Coweta County Safety Council will hold its next monthly meeting on June 20, 2017 from 3-5 p.m. at The Summit in Newnan. This group, formed under the auspices of our Chamber, is open to any safety-conscious businesses in Coweta, and there is no cost to attend.

The Safety Council provides guidance and training to businesses in Coweta County. It is comprised of safety professionals who desire to share their collective knowledge to help local industry comply with OSHA regulations and ultimately keep the Coweta County workforce healthy and safe. Gathering monthly, the group hears from experts who help them learn how to improve in such areas as emergency preparedness, workplace ergonomics, OSHA regulations and hot weather safety.

At a recent meeting, Tomas Motiejunas of Orizon IPE, above, gave a regulatory compliance update. Motiejunas and his twin brother, Jonas Motiejunas, operate Orizon IPE, a full-service consulting company specializing in environmental health and safety.
