The Coweta Community Foundation will host its Second Annual Saturday Down South Sporting Clays and Southern Supper on Saturday, April 29 at Blalock Lakes Sporting Club from 2 to 10 p.m., with the sporting clays portion of the day beginning at 2 p.m.

Participants and guests are welcome for a hunter-casual evening of awards, a Southern supper, auction and music beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Co-chairs for the event are CCF board member Susan Paulk and her husband, John Paulk, and CCF board member Angela Munson and her husband, Brennan Munson.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the Second Annual Saturday Down South Sporting Clays and Southern Supper,” Susan Paulk said in a press release. “Last year was a successful event, and we are sure that this year will be even better. It is so inspiring to see how eager the citizens of Coweta County are to give back to our community.”

Angela Munson said the foundation reminds her of the Ralph Waldo Emerson quote, “the creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn.”

“One of the many beautiful aspects of the great work of the Coweta Community Foundation is that CCF provides an opportunity for everyone to give what they can,” Munson said. “No contribution is too big or too small. The collective result is powerful and dynamic for our community. Brennan and I are proud to be a small part of the great things that CCF is doing in our community, and we look forward to a successful Saturday Down South this year.”
