Hubtopia Profile Features Georgia's Fayette County as Suburban Haven for Creatives

The Technology Association of Georgia, one of the nation’s largest state trade organizations dedicated to technology and innovation, profiles the growing creative and tech scene in Fayette County, Georgia in the current issue of Hub Magazine.   
 
The article “Fayette Forward” was written by Fayette Chamber of Commerce President Carlotta Ungaro, and appears in the magazine’s Hubtopia feature which offers a glimpse of the creative culture, places and spaces that are driving innovation in the Southeast. Communities that are profiled each issue are able to showcase the unique attributes, businesses, endeavors and successes that make them a “Hubtopia” for technology and innovation.
 
Ungaro’s article highlighted the county’s growth as it relates to technology and innovation. NCR, Panasonic Automotive Systems America, TDK, and Pinewood Studios Atlanta, have a presence in Fayette as well as the new Georgia Film Academy.
 
In addition to the profile on Fayette County, the issue features a cover article by Teresa White, President at Aflac U.S.; and articles from Congressman Hank Johnson, (GA-04) U.S. House of Representatives; and Gary S. May, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
