Staff Report

Wednesday, July 8th, 2020

On Friday, July 10, 2020, noon-1:00 p.m., the Georgia Archives’ virtual Lunch and Learn program will be available to the public. Migration and Settlement in Early Georgia will be presented by Georgia Archives’ Collections Manager, Dr. Hendry Miller.

This presentation explores migration and settlement patterns in Colonial Georgia, focusing on what brought people to the southeast, resistance to newcomers, and shifts in settlement as the Colonial era closed.  This Lunch and Learn will feature documents and images from the Georgia Archives' collections and offer tips for researching our colonial records holdings.
