In 2019, Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators was recognized as a top workplace in Atlanta for the 2ndyear in a row by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.  Arrow was ranked number two in the Large Companies category.  The Top Workplaces Award is based solely on team member feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage LLC. The survey measures several aspects of a workplace culture including, alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few. “Arrow Exterminators has a unique family-focused, entrepreneurial culture that is based on integrity and operating with transparency and a clear conscience,” said Shay Runion, Chief Human Resources Officer of Arrow Exterminators. “We want to partner with like-minded team members who are also focused on growth, who share our goals and principles, and our family culture. As our vision states, we want to hire, train and retain the best people and we know that the Top Workplaces distinction will help propel our recruiting efforts and further strengthen our presence in the Atlanta Metro Area.”

Community is one of Arrow Exterminators’ core values, and while their expertise is providing healthier home environments, Arrow realizes that their continued success plays an important role in helping fuel healthy hometown economies. In early August, Arrow announced their pledged donation to The Hands United Foundation, which was founded by the Georgia Pest Control Association (GPCA) in 2017. The company has committed to donate $5,000 each year for the next five years, to equal $25,000, in order to benefit families of the GPCA, the Certified Control Operations of Georgia, and the general Georgia pest control industry that have been affected by catastrophic or life changing events. Emily Thomas Kendrick, CEO & President of Arrow Exterminators commented, “I am beyond delighted to have Arrow be a part of such a great cause and organization. We are so thankful for the opportunity to donate to a foundation that helps families when they need it most.”

Over the past year, Arrow Exterminators has expanded into many different markets in the United States. The brand-new offices through strategic mergers are as follows:  All Guard Pest Control in Chandler, AZ, Carolina Termite & Pest Control, Inc. in Hilton Head Island, SC, Tropical Pest Management, Inc. in West Palm Beach, FL, Econo Termite & Pest Control, Inc. in Englewood, FL, Exterminating Unlimited, Inc. in Richmond, VA, and 5 Star Termite & Pest Control, Inc. in Tucson, AZ. In addition to the aforementioned mergers, Arrow also opened five new offices in the following cities to better support customers in those areas:  Bradenton, FL, Marietta, GA, Decatur, GA, and commercial offices in Chattanooga and Nashville, TN.

These new locations contribute to Arrow’s list of 125 service centers throughout the United States and is strategic to our growth objective of $300 million and beyond,” said Tim Pollard, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “We look forward to what is to come in 2020.”
