The College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl announced that both Oklahoma and LSU ticket allotments are sold out. Each school sold a total of 13,040 tickets to its fans for this year’s game on Dec. 28 in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

In addition to the 26,080 tickets sold by the schools, the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl ticket office had previously sold through the remaining ticket inventory back in July. Due to the incredible demand for the No. 4 Oklahoma  vs. No. 1 LSU matchup, an additional 1,500 standing room only tickets were also sold to the general public. This year’s Semifinal matchup represents the largest number of tickets ever sold in the 52-year history of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl and is the Bowl’s 21st sellout in the last 23 games.

“We’re expecting a record crowd and an electric atmosphere in Mercedes-Benz stadium,” said Peach Bowl, Inc. CEO and President Gary Stokan. “Ticket demand is extremely high to see two of the nation’s top-ranked offenses led by this year’s Heisman Trophy winner, Joe Burrow, and Heisman Trophy runner-up, Jalen Hurts.”

The No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners and the No. 1 LSU Tigers will meet on Dec. 28 at 4 p.m. ET in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, with the winner advancing to play for the College Football Playoff National Championship in New Orleans on Jan. 13.

Oklahoma will be making its first trip to the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, while this will mark LSU’s seventh appearance in the game, tying the Tigers for the second most appearances of any team in the Bowl’s history. LSU will be making its first-ever College Football Playoff Semifinal appearance, while Oklahoma will play in its third consecutive Semifinal and fourth overall.

The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl last hosted a Semifinal in 2016 when No. 1 Alabama defeated No. 4 Washington 24-7. That game boasted the largest crowd to ever see a football game in the Georgia Dome with a record 75,996 in attendance.

While tickets allocated in the team allotments are mobile tickets, a commemorative ticket will be available for fans to purchase in the Bowl’s official game program. Game programs are $10 and can be purchased at the team hotels during Bowl Week, or at FanFest and Mercedes-Benz Stadium on game day.
