Taste of Senoia to be Held April 28th

The Taste of Senoia, the annual event hosted by the Senoia Optimist Club (SOC), will be April 28 from 1-4 p.m. in downtown Senoia.

The event will feature food from local restaurants and have a large number of prizes available through raffles and silent auctions.

The local restaurants participating in the event will be providing “tastes,” of their food. Each taste will be purchased with food tickets that are available at the event for $1 each.

Entertainment at the event will include live music from the Georgia Grass Band, an Irish dance performance and a pie-eating contest.

According to the SOC, special cups will be available for attendees to purchase beer or wine and freely walk within the entertainment zone.

The cups will be available at the Senoia Masonic Lodge.

The raffle will also be headquartered at the masonic lodge. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase there and at Jacob’s Table for $20.

The prize for the raffle is a seven-night stay in Breckenridge, Colo., according to the SOC.
