All-State Band, All-State Orchestra and All-State Chorus is the highest honor a Georgia music student can receive, and this year a total of 26 band students, 18 orchestra students, and 39 chorus students from Fayette’s middle and high schools have earned membership into the state’s most elite music ensembles.

Students are required to pass two rigorous auditions before they are selected as members of the All-State Band or All-State Orchestra. They will rehearse and perform with their respective All-State ensembles February 28-March 2 at The Classic Center in Athens, Georgia.

The middle school All-State Orchestra members are (Rising Starr Middle) Lucas Nyman, Richard Wang, DiDi Stone,  (J.C. Booth Middle) Diane Kwon, and (Bennett’s Mill Middle) Bria Rives.

High school orchestra members are (McIntosh High) Amy Kim, Brenden Feldman, Yejin Nam, Dayo Lee, Jennifer Deng, Jesse Perry, Yebin Nam, (Sandy Creek High) Natali Vera Pimentel, (McIntosh High) Yuheon Lee, (Whitewater High) Spencer Kalafut, Sydney Sims, (Sandy Creek High) Skyler Bugg, and (Fayette County High) Keveen Campos-Martinez.

Middle school All-State Band members are (Rising Starr Middle) Mary Arthur-Dilbert, Hannah Kim, Andrew Yeager, (J.C. Booth Middle) Jinhee Han, Khumo Simelane, (Whitewater Middle) Kate Newland, and (Bennett’s Mill Middle) Maegan Rees.
