Tables for Moreland’s Big Band Dance Available

Moreland is gearing up for its annual Independence Day celebration, but there will be more than the usual barbecue and arts-and-crafts festival this year.
A Big Band Dance will be held on the town green at 7 p.m. The Newnan Brass, a 17-piece band, will perform "a free concert of music from the 1940s Big Band era from 7-9 p.m.,” said Carol Chancey of the Moreland Cultural Arts Alliance.
