Inaugural Miller Leadership Academy Class Announced

Wednesday, January 24th, 2018

Miller Institute Foundation CEO Bryan Miller announced today the inaugural Miller Leadership Academy Class of 2018. The Academy is based on a leadership class taught by former Governor Zell Miller.

“We set out to find the best and brightest young professionals in Georgia. I’m proud to say we succeeded,” said Miller. “The Miller Institute is honored to have 40 members of the Class of 2018 take part in the Miller Leadership Academy.”

The Miller Leadership Academy prepares young professionals for successful careers in public service. The Academy consists of five weekend summits across Georgia designed to help participants become effective leaders and decision makers.

The Miller Institute is proud to partner with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government and the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development at the University of Georgia to provide the curriculum for the Miller Leadership Academy.

The first summit will take place on January 26-28 at the Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Hotel in Athens. The four remaining summits for 2018 will be held in Macon, Augusta, Columbus, and Savannah.
